2009.09.20The Institute of Mediterranean sea trades opens its doors in October
The Institute of Mediterranean sea trades, whose creation was ordered by the head of state, will enter service in October 2009.
The capital building of the Institute of Mediterranean sea trades has been a working session held today in Tunis, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abderrahim Zouari, Minister of Transport, with representatives departments involved (shipping, tourism and agriculture).
The institute has set as goals to offer more opportunities for jobs for graduates of Bachelor of national and international (Gulf countries, Europe), especially as Europe needs manpower in this area, are currently estimated at 40 000 jobs.
In addition, the institute aims to improve the quality of training in these trades (transport, logistics, multimodal transportation, port administration).
Participants expressed this way, their willingness to participate in the capital formation of the new institute alongside public enterprises and foreign shipping.
