2009.11.21Tunisian Textile - The October recovery
Tunis - Following the resumption of July 2009, with 5.1% of exports, the growth experienced by the Tunisian textile and clothing industry continues to gain space for the month of October with a current rise in value 18% in dinars.
Statistics of the Technical Center for Textiles (CETTEX) indicate that the products are made in highest demand in foreign markets with 90% of exports and participating with 80% in employment.
Catalyzing the Tunisian-French partnership in the textile and clothing sector, the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTFCI) organizes the 11th November t12 current partnership meetings between Tunisian and French investors in the area.
